I don't speak "NO TRESPASSING"

I like old buildings.  I like them better than new.  I like them here, I like them there.
I like them pert near anywhere.  ;)
I've always had a fascination with old and especially abandoned buildings.  When I was 15, my friend Tiffany and I found an abandoned school in Mineral, VA.  Of course, we went in.  Paint peeling off the walls and ceilings, dangling light fixtures, and broken windows- It was amazing.
"No Trespassing" is Gobbledegook and I don't speak that language.  I never find them scary or creepy, just something that is both old and new at the same time and it beckons me to explore.

I never knew anyone else that was quite as intrigued as me.  Until... I saw an article about a woman named Niki Feijen who photographed abandoned places.  I was NOT the only one!  Funny, I've learned over the years that many of the oddities that I think belong solely to me are actually shared.

Can't you just imagine the people who walked here, loved here, cried here, LIVED here?  To them, this was home and they treasured it... the way I treasure my home.

Someday, someone might wonder about me too :) I like that idea.
