My New Favorite Stencils

I found a great dresser this weekend.  The drawers needed a little more love than I first realized, but otherwise it was in good shape.  I like the dark finish and thought it would be fun to just do the drawers.  As usual I jumped in before I took a picture.

I painted the draws in mixture of MMS Ironstone and dropped in a couple tablespoons of brown valspar for tint.

I've had these glass stencils for a while and thought this would be a great time to try them out.

I love the way it turned out.  They give such a crisp design!  The stencil is a little tacky on the back and covered in a thin mesh film.  It won't slide around on your surface and as long as you keep the paint on the brush light, it won't bleed!  If you've ever used large plastic stencils you know how tough it is to keep it neat and tidy.

I just put the original knobs back on as they were.

It's already in the shop!  I'm still not open, but that doesn't stop me from playing.
Thanks for reading :)  Goodnight friends and relations.
